SPACE FOR HEALING

A place to reconnect with your body, understand your stress, and begin to move through life in a more grounded and sustainable way.
What this is

Space for Healing is a place where I gather my work in different forms, through programs, courses and individual sessions, all centered around the body as a starting point for sustainable change and wellbeing.

This work has grown over many years, in the meeting with people, in my teaching in the yogastudio, in all the educations and courses I have enrolled but perhaps most of all through my own healing journey.

Why this work exists

There is something I see again and again, both in myself and others:

We try to think our way to calm. But the body remains in stress.

We understand what we “should” do, yet we don’t do it or we do but we still feel stuck.

That’s because real change doesn’t happen in the mind or through understanding or insight.

It happens when the body is included.

A more complete picture

What you experience is rarely just “stress”.

It is often a combination of:

  • how your nervous system responds
  • how your body holds tension or activation
  • your thoughts and emotional patterns
  • past experiences that still live in the body
  • and the life you are living right now

 

This is why we need to approach this work from more than just one angle.

How I work

I work step by step, without rushing, without forcing, and without overwhelm.

We move between understanding and experience.

You don’t just learn about the body, you begin to feel, notice, and relate to it differently.

 

And to do that we work with:

About Dinah

My path into this work began through my own healing journey,
a journey shaped by trauma, nervous system dysregulation, deep inner work, and a gradual return to my body as a place of safety.

Over the years, I have trained in trauma-adapted yoga (TAY), stress managment, integrative trauma healing and a range of body-based and energy-oriented modalities.

But just as important as any training is what I’ve learned through listening to my own body, to the people I have worked with, and to what exists beneath words.

My way of working is intuitive, grounded and relational.

I listen with my whole system.
I trust the body, and I trust pacing.

I also trust that healing unfolds when there is enough safety for the truth to emerge.

In my sessions, nothing is fully pre-defined.

We follow what is present.

That might include:

movement, stillness, breath, touch, energy work, or dialogue with the subconscious.

Everything is shaped in the moment, together.

I hold a deep respect for both science and spirit.
To me, they are not opposites, but part of the same whole.

This work is not about fixing you.

It is about supporting you in reconnecting with your own inner intelligence, your own way of sensing, knowing and healing.
