”Practice, practice, practice, and all is coming.” Sri K Pattabhi Jois
I’ve recently moved from sunny Byron Bay in Australia to a small farm outside of Tystberga and now share my love for the traditional practice of yoga here in Sweden.
I have been a devoted student and practitioner of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga for over twenty years. Yoga saved my life when I was nineteen and became my best friend, my daily anchor and my way home.
My first teacher was Lino Miele, from whom I learned the structure of Ashtanga and the Tristana method. In 2008 I began living in Mysore, India and studying with the late Sri K Pattabhi Jois, spending over a year immersed in the heart of the tradition and returning to India regularly since then. I continue to follow the traditional parampara method under the guidance of my current teacher, Dena Kingsberg. I have completed the Intermediate Series (Nadi Shodhana) and continue further with curiosity and respect for the body and nervous system.
I have been teaching for over fifteen years across Europe, United States, and Australia. I love sharing the practice in its traditional form while making it accessible to all. In my teaching I focus on truly seeing people and responding to what they need in the moment. My teaching is simple and joyful, allowing the practice itself to do the work. People are the greatest loves of my life, and witnessing the joy, clarity, and freedom that yoga can bring is the biggest gift of all!
